Lately...

So much has happened lately! Here are some major highlights in a very random order:

• I've experienced some magical moments with a special person that I will treasure forever. And I am really hoping it won't have to end in a few months...
  
• I've doubted myself and some of the people that are closest to me because I listened to other people's "opinions" of what I am doing with my life. I got proven very wrong and it made me happy and ashamed at the same time.
  
• I've realized what a wonderful room-mate I have!!! I don't know what I would do without her.
• I've gotten to know some very interesting people that I connect with really well and I've realized what has been missing during my time here in Pakistan. I'm discovering a completely different side to this city and country and I'm loving it!
• My room now actually looks like a room since we have cupboards to put all of our stuff in!! Thank you Wangari!! :)
• In the past few months I have let a few individuals get me down and it has affected my work and the way I feel about myself. Something has to change...
  
• Lots of things have changed in the house: new people have entered our circle of friends and things have been turned upside down ;)
• I am working from home... I hate it...
• We celebrated Emad's birthday and got him a bunch of gifts :)
• Had one of the best weekends in a very long time with bbq on the roof with a lot of new friends, excellent food (boti, tikka etc) and drinks. It was followed by a very lazy Sunday ;)
